When you submit a prayer-circle photo or story, we collect the information you choose to provide, including:

• Your name and email address.
• The school or schools involved, if provided.
• Photographs and any accompanying description or story.
• A record of your acceptance of our Content Submission Agreement, including the agreement version and acceptance time.

When you visit or use the website, our servers and security services may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, request times, and information needed to maintain an upload session and prevent abuse.

How We Use Information

We use information to receive and review submissions, contact contributors when needed, determine which photographs and stories to feature, maintain the website, and protect it from spam, unauthorized activity, and other misuse.

We may contact you about a photo or story you submitted, including questions about its source, the people involved, or permission to share it. Submitting a photograph does not guarantee that it will be published.

Photographs and Stories

Submitted photographs and stories are held for review before we decide whether to publish them. If we feature a submission, the photograph, submitted description, school names, or other relevant details may become visible to the public on the Circle Up Sports website or our social media accounts.

We do not intend to publish a contributor's email address as part of a photo or story. We may identify a photographer or contributor by name when appropriate, so please tell us if you have a concern about public attribution.

Photographs are submitted subject to our Content Submission Agreement, which explains the permission you grant us to use submitted material. Publishing a photograph on a third-party platform may allow others to view, share, or save it, and we cannot control copies made by others.

Cookies and Other Services

Our website uses technical features, including session cookies or similar identifiers, to manage photo uploads and help protect the submission process. These are used for the operation and security of the site.

We use Cloudflare for website delivery and security. Cloudflare may process information about visits and requests to help identify suspicious traffic. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled on the form, it may also process technical information to verify that submissions are made by legitimate visitors.

Our website loads typefaces through Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google may receive technical connection information, including your IP address. External websites and social media platforms linked from Circle Up Sports have their own privacy practices.

When Information Is Shared

We share submitted photographs and stories publicly only when we choose to feature them. We also use service providers, such as website hosting and security providers, that may process information as needed to operate and protect the site.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of Circle Up Sports and others.

We do not currently sell contributors' names, email addresses, or other information collected through the submission form.

Storage and Retention

We store submitted photographs and associated information on systems used to operate Circle Up Sports. Photographs are stored in non-public server directories while awaiting review. Access to submitted material is intended to be limited to people responsible for managing the website.

We keep submissions for as long as reasonably needed to review, publish, maintain records of permissions, address questions or disputes, and operate the project. Unfinished uploads may be removed through routine maintenance, and we may delete submissions we do not plan to use.

No method of online storage or transmission is completely secure. We use reasonable safeguards, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Students and Minors

Because Circle Up Sports features school athletics, some photographs may include children or teenagers. We encourage contributors to respect the privacy and wishes of everyone pictured and to share photographs only when they have the necessary rights and permissions.

If you are under 18 and would like to submit photographs, please ask a parent or guardian to make the submission. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns about a photograph involving your child, contact us so we can review the situation.

Your Choices

You can contact us to ask what personal information we have associated with your submission, request a correction, or request removal of a photograph or story. We will review requests and respond as appropriate, taking into account our legal obligations and the terms under which material was submitted.

Removing material from our website or social accounts does not necessarily remove copies previously saved, shared, or reposted by others.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website develops or our practices change. When we make changes, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page.
